In JPOG, it could just be stuck in the middle of an enclosure and checked upon at your leisure. In both JPOG and JWE, you have to set up a hatchery in order to put dinosaurs into your park. Let's compare some things in this game to Operation Genesis. Almost everything about it is clunky, unbalanced, awkward, or just plain bad. After spending about twelve hours with it, I have to wonder what the fuck the devs were smoking. Jurassic World Evolution, an alleged spiritual successor to Operation Genesis, released yesterday. It may not have been perfect, but for what it was, it was solid. It was a tycoon game which let you take the role of the person running a successful Jurassic Park, complete with cloning your own dinosaurs, researching more efficient methods to run your park, and even the ability to shoot your own dinosaurs. In 2003, Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis launched. TL DR Jurassic World Evolution doesn't live up to the standards set forth by a fifteen-year-old game, let alone any tycoon game created by a sensible person, and is therefore not very good. ![]()
